What protocol are you configuring in Outlook?
Can you receive emails through the web-side mailbox?
We recommend that you try sending the email to yourself to test if you can receive it.
You can also ask senders whose messages you couldn't receive if they received bounce messages.
Also, the methods provided in this link are for your reference to try and see if it solves your problem.
We need to go through a series of steps to find the true cause of the problem. If the steps above don't solve your problem, let me know and I will continue to help you with the problem.

Hi Mavis
Outlook 365 is v2204 build 15128.20248
IMAP/SMTP
Outlook live, iPad and Android all the same as 365
i.e. working fine except not seeing emails from a couple (that I know of) of distribution lists
All self tests from gmail passed
The only distribution list sender I can talk to does not see any bounces
He has also added my alias to the list, which I do receive on all clients
It is emails from lists sent to my personalised email address that I'm missing
Nothing helpful in the link. GoDaddy just hosts my domain. All email is done at Microsoft
I suspect Microsoft knows there's an issue here. Maybe associated with particular list servers.
Can you help further?
Thank you

Hello Cortexpert,
Thanks for the quick reply and further clarification of the question. I'm sorry that the solutions provided earlier did not solve your problem.
Can I use my new personalized email address to sign in to Microsoft services (like Outlook.com or a Microsoft 365 subscription)?
No. We strongly recommend against setting your personalized email address as your primary alias for signing in. Doing this can create problems with signing in or even sending and receiving email.
You can still set your personalized email address as your default "From" address:
-
Go to your Outlook.com Email alias settings.
-
Set thedefault Fromaddressfrom the drop down of address available.
My personalized email address is not receiving or sending mail (or I don't see it or can't sign in with it)
Go to https://outlook.live.com and select the diamond icon on the toolbar to open the premium section of Outlook settings.
-
If you don't see a diamond icon in your inbox (and you do see ads), it means your Microsoft 365 subscription has expired. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services to re-activate your subscription, then reconnect your domain using the steps in "Get started".
-
If you don't see a "Personalized email address" tab underneath "Features" and "Security", it means your personalized email address was removed from Outlook.
-
If you originally set up the domain, your Microsoft 365 Family subscription likely expired. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services to re-activate your subscription, then reconnect your domain using the steps in "Get started".
-
If someone shared a Microsoft 365 Family subscription with you, their subscription may have expired, or they may have removed the domain from Outlook. Contact the owner of the Microsoft 365 Family subscription and ask them to reconnect the domain.
-
-
If the "Personalized email address" tab has a red status bar, your domain may have expired. Confirm with GoDaddy that your domain is still active.
-
If your domain is active with GoDaddy, selectCancel setup andrefresh your browser window. Then go toPremium >Features and selectGet started.
-
If the above still doesn't solve your problem, this is no longer a problem with Outlook for windows, but with your email address. It is recommended that you contact customer service directly and they will continue to provide support for you. I'm sorry that the forum can do very little for you.
You can click this link to find out the customer service phone number in your area. If the above solutions did not solve your problem, we sincerely apologize and hope to get your understanding.
Sincere greetings

Thanks Mavis. It appears the FAQ was just now updated as per your advice to answer the very questions I've been asking ever since I first moved my domain to GoDaddy and set up my personalised email address. I'm sure there will be many other users who naturally use the same address for email as they have set for their primary alias so it's good to this clarified. Now for a long session going through all my setup on all my devices to turn things around. Wish me luck.
